Overseas Shipping Charges

A default shipping charge will be applied to most orders.  If no shipping charge is added then it is likely that you live in a country we dont routinely ship to.  We will then invoice you for the appropriate shipping costs prior to dispatch.  Please also note that for some more remote or distant countries a shipping surcharge may be applied.

SRM UK provide first class service on SRM Powermeters and SRM Powercontrols. The majority of routine service work is carried out here in the UK with a turnaround time of normally 7 working days, during holiday periods this might be a little longer.

Occasionally units will need to be sent to the SRM Headquarters in Germany which will extend the timescale to 3-4weeks. We also provide warranty support plus technical advice, SRM fitting, software support and training.

We strongly recommend that SRM powermeters are sent in for a battery replacement and calibration every 18-24months - once their warranty expires. Symptoms of a fading battery include power drop outs most notably on cold days. SRM Powercontrols should be regularly charged even if not being used as prolonged time in a discharged mode will severely shorten battery life. We recommend you send the powercontrol in for a routine service and battery change when the unit starts to not hold charge for more than say 3-4 days or discharges when you try to download data. Don't leave things till they aren't working as this may prove expensive and could well constitute a costly repair as opposed to a routine service. DO remember though that virtually all elements of the SRM powermeters are replaceable and so should give you years of first class data.

Water is the big enemy of powermeters and powercontrols so please don’t use pressure washers or solvent cleaners. The Service options cover most routine maintenance issues but please feel free to contact us if you need further information or have an issue that isn’t covered here. Make sure the unit is clean before sending otherwise you may incur a cleaning charge £20 + VAT (£24.00 inc). Also please make sure your item is carefully wrapped to prevent damage in transit.

For Powermeter Service please leave chainrings on but pedals off. Please include the left hand crank if you require calibration. Carriage costs are per shipment and are £14.00 for UK and £30.00 for overseas.

Goods are normally shipped via UPS or similar. Customers in EIRE will be charged the overseas rate BUT will be refunded £10.00 so that only pay the £25.00.

Please note that Powercontrol repairs will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery - the £14.00 carriage will be charged BUT we've reduced the price to the service to compensate for this. We recommend booking the service in online by adding the relevant "items" to the basket. If unsure of your requirements please either book in for "diagnostic testing"

Please note that some form of payment is required prior to work commencing.

Overseas Non EU Customers

Please clearly mark your item for REPAIR AND RETURN, please declare a low customs / repair value for example £100 POUNDS STERLING and use both the £ sign and the wording. Please contact us if you have queries.
